All of the people I meet walking believe that this Development is a done deal and that the consultation was "what" was going to happen?
The main reasons for this are:
The presentation was overseen by Town Planners.
Actually the Town Planners were working on behalf of the Developers

The issuing of letters to homes backing onto the Ashby Wolds Trail, regarding closure of any gates or access onto the Trail.
The marking out of the Ridge and Furrow Field, not sure what this is but it's more likely to be an action by the canal restoration group? As was the drilling activity within the location of the old canal route.
